Torres House: A beautiful mountain retreat by GLR Arquitectos/ Gilberto L. Rodriguez
The pristine beauty of the Sierra Madre Mountains is the home of the Torres House by GLR Arquitectos/ Gilberto L. Rodriguez. The 5,942 sq ft contemporary house doesn’t contrast with the surroundings, not at all – lots of natural materials (marble, wood and volcanic stone) have been used and the garden is in fact a small oak forest. Designed to maximize the “outdoor†feel,  the Torres house provides lavish views of the outside space from almost every corner of the home. And talking about views – the roof terrace has amazing views over Sierra Madre and the city of Monterrey. The entrance door is also worth mentioning – its stunning mural-like design is like a hint for the beauty that lies inside this amazing modern house.
