Urano bed by Leonardo Dainelli – S is for Style
We know that 3 points define a plane and 3 is the minimum number of supporting points required for a plane to be stable. Especially when it comes to large furniture planes, such as bed bases. The Urano bed by designer Leonardo Dainelli at first seems puzzling with its clean S-like design, but then you begin to notice the burnished steel base which holds the bed and the way it goes unostentatiously into the wooden frame. Then you begin to notice the thickness of this wooden frame and the hidden steel that holds it and is responsible for that thickness. Then you think “Well, great!”, and it really is.

Stunning and sexy bed! I could totally see this in one of my current client’s space! Of course, you’d have to be diligent about vacuuming up the dust-bunnies!

Wow, I love this. The cleanliness, simplicity and organic feel of it all is very inspiring.
