Design Dilemma: Cool Pools 2012

In the hottest days of summer, who can resist taking a look at the coolest pool ideas out there?

So here we go:

What could be cooler than a table/fountain spilling from a pool deck straight into the pool? A bit over the top, perhaps, the table certainly gives a whole new meaning to “poolside dining!”

Picking up on the same concept, we have a poolside bar with bar stools of stone actually embedded in the pool. The pool bar is perfect on the steamy days when leaving the pool for a cool drink seems like too much of a sacrifice.

We love how this outdoor pool directly abuts the walls of the house, providing a stunning view from the indoor hallway/atrium.

Is that a pool above or just the ocean? This unique infinity pool makes it hard to tell!
