Luxury home by Claire Ownby: a little bit of Orient and a lot of sophistication
Art and accessories can really make incredible things to a home’s appearance and this beautiful residence is an illustrative example. By the owner’s demand, the 6,500sq. ft. open floor plan house was decorated using Oriental and tribal art, adding an exotic character to the interior. However, the most attention-drawing parts are the two-sided fireplaces, framed with espresso-stained maple and stone mosaic tiles. Above the fireplace in the master bedroom, the home’s designer Claire Ownby cleverly placed a TV that can easily come out or be hidden in a gap in the wall. Quite elegant home, don’t you think?
